WE ARE TROY
(Fullerton, CA) Troy High School's Coach Roger Anderon introduced 2023 Freeway League Coach of the Year for Swimming, Coach Summer Driessen, and the 2023 CIF State qualifiers during the June 6th, 2023 Board Meeting. Those being recognized before FJUHSD's Board council, were Sophomores, Kevin Yum and Luke Leon Guerrero, Juniors Theo Sohn and Ty Leon Guerrero (not present), and Senior Captain, Tony Zheng as Head Principal, Dr. William Mynster proudly looked on.
By the look of sheer amazement that flashed across Superintendent Steve McLaughlin's face, and the size of Board President Joanne Fawley's smile when Coach Anderson read off the exceptionally long list of each swimmers' accomplishments, championship titles, broken school and league records, and award titles, you could tell everone in the room was beyond impressed.

Congratulations, 2023 MVP Kevin Yum, 2023 Most Outstanding Swimmer Theo Sohn, 2023 Most Versatile, Swim Team Captain Tony Zheng, and 2023 Coaches Award recipient Luke Leon Guerrero on an incredible season that Troy High School and the FJUHSD Board will not soon forget.
Last, but certainly not least, a very special congratulations to Troy High School's Record Breaker and 2023 State Qualifier Ty Leon Guerrero, who unfortunately could not attend the Fullerton Joint Union High School District recognition dedication.
